Health & Physical Education

Pike County Middle School offers Health Education and Physical Education to all grade levels on a quarter long basis. These offerings are rotated with other Connections courses throughout the school year.

The goal of health education is to give students an overview of information on topics that will support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being, over the course of their lifetime. Health topics vary by grade level and include topics like Nutrition, Personal Hygeine, Drug Awareness, Mental Health, Fitness, Emergency Response, Human Body, Life Time Activities, and Social Health.
